The Travel Tour Expo (TTE), the biggest annual travel and tourism event in the country is set to return to the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City this month for a third straight year.
Organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA), this year's edition of the TTE dubbed Ready, Jest Set, Go!, is expected to be the biggest in its history with the assembly of the biggest local and international travel agencies; hotels, resorts, tour operators, travel shops, international airlines, and cruise operators.
PTAA president Ma. Paz Alberto said the three-day expo which will open on February 19 will again be using three of the four halls of SMX.
"We always had a strong relationship with the SM management dating back to the time when we were holding the expo at the Megatrade Hall of SM Megamall. They have always provided us all the support needed for a successful staging of Travel Tour Expo," Alberto said.
The PTAA was one of the first associations to use the three-story 46,074 square meter SMX Convention Center after its completion in late 2007.
